The difference is, the riots that happened in Yuen Long last night were sponsored or at least condoned by the HK government, complete with suspicious inaction of the HK Police, this does not happen in the UK.
Makes absolutely no difference whatsoever, a lack of confidence is a lack of confidence, regardless of whoever the shit-stirrer is. Personally I think it is due to an arrogant but incompetent government completely misjudging and mishandling the situation, and believe it or not there will be bigger disasters to come.
