Can I also ask about the student conduct? As I heard some negative feedback especially for those in the high school years?

My son is studying in AIS. Our impresssion is that AIS is a very authentic international school, which truly embraces the American cultures, including appreciating individual's characters and strengths, instead of "mass producing students using the same mold". Since my boy is still in the kindy, I am unsure the curriculum of the high school yet. But, I did hear that the curriculum in high school is robust and aggressive. However, how much effort one devotes to pursue his/her academic achievement is quite personal. It is true that the high school students may not dress up as tidiy as expected by the traditional chinese culture. If you have a walk just outside the campus after school, you may see some girls wearing make up (not heavy) and short skirt. How much you care about this is very much up to your belief and cultural background. Traditional chinese may lable this as bad discipline. Whereas, one may think there is nothing wrong for a teenager trying to look cool/trendy in his/her own way. My husband used to study in Canada. He truly likes the atmosphere of AIS coz it made him feel like being back to his mother school. He said if you put your child in an international school, what's the point of expecting values and standards of traditional chinese schools. That's a very important point to consider before putting your child in an international school.

真用家有負評又點夠膽喺度公開講呢? 唔怕校方秋後算帳嗎？況且校方應該也有不少情報員長期於此收集情報, 維持秩序吧, 估計負評大多數係用「朋友孩子是用家」來發表意見吧, 想聽事實真相還是PM私聊吧。

EC1 Assessment時感覺老師很有愛心。學校有基本設施，無想像中咁舊。

我地去完interview，見好多中學生放學，全部都流利美式英文傾計，無見到有人食煙。我5月頭會去家長嘅briefing session,到時再了解一下。

今日去咗家長orientation day, 學校介紹咗小息同午飯嘅安排，買校服，訂校巴安排，每日上堂時間表等等。感覺安排唔錯，學校唔算話好大，但球場，操場，遊樂場，泳池都有。
校外見到有一男一女中學生手拖手，校內見d中學生打籃球，有幾個小學生一齊打機。全部人都係講英文，正正常常一間學校咁。

EC1即係出面K1,完全唔會有功課，主要返去都係玩。一星期有2堂普通話，2堂PE同音樂堂。

其他家長感覺都nice。課室都有地毯範圍，方便圍圈坐地下活動，d枱就唔似傳統學校向哂老師，係一組組咁分組坐。

已過咗放學時間，果幾個似係等緊大人pick up. 其中一個睇緊ted talk, 另有2個用usb抄緊file, 有1個打機。全部都係用laptop的。學校需要佢地帶laptop
其他IS係點，我唔清楚了。

Applied the their primary school last year, go to school tour, feel not bad. But not good experience when message with the admission on their dashboard system. The thing is I received a reminder to submit my son’s latest school report but i explained that his kindergarten not yet provide to me, and i asked if the report is a MUST before arranging the interview. The admission just replied and asked me to follow up the notes and no assessment offer before i finished all process, and write down “this is my last time writing to u, from now on, i will pass ur file to my assistant” (not feeling well with the words, think a little bit rude). Anyway, i thought i need wait until have new school report, HOWEVER, i got interview email soon later, but actually I didn’t do anything...What really disappointed me was what happen during the interview day. There are total 3 kids in the classroom with 2-3 teachers (i dont remember), also another teacher talking with parents, 45-50mins later, after they come out from the classroom, my son got a quite deep and long scratch on his face (near the eye 2cm long), and the teachers not even notice till i ask them. I did show an unhappy face when leaving. I am not a over-protect mum, but the school really not give me a good impression on profession and carefulness.
