課程導向派：算！中學行IB，小學校本課程。

In Hong Kong, international schools generally refer to those which follow a full non-local curriculum designed for the needs of a particular cultural or linguistic group and/or whose students do not sit for local examinations. International schools mainly provide education for students who hold passport other than the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Passport or the British National (Overseas) Passport or those who hold student visas for entry into Hong Kong for studies. International schools are operated on a self-financing and market-driven basis. They are part of the private school sector.
The international school sector in Hong Kong is fairly diverse. In addition to 14 schools operated by the English Schools Foundation, there are over 30 individual school operators providing various national and international curricula at primary and secondary levels. The English Schools Foundation also operates a special school.
Apart from those which have been established long time ago, schools join the international school family either through the School Allocation Exercise, or meeting a specific set of requirements and undergoing a vigorous scrutiny process.

現時提供國際課程，除了教署定義的國際學校，仲有private independent schools and private schools, 不如這討論由"國際學校"轉為"國際課程", 範圍濶D

樓主，isf屬private independent school, 教署規定7成為本地生，而國際學校一般為7成非本地生，即簡單咁分，international school and private independent school 主要分別在student mix

想問下樓主點解咁問，有什麼concern ? 係唔係話比人聽讀私校好尷尬? 又驚比人話咩扮國際學校？好似隔離嗰個無謂post咁

No, even the link you quoted said there are 55 international schools in HK.  Not just 15 ESF ones.

因為好多人用教署定義，又或者學校名有無國際學校來判斷間學校算唔算國際學校。私立國際或者獨立私立都唔算，成日吵來吵去。

當然，我唔係咁樣睇。

private independent school 係 n 年前的一個建校經濟安排。
和學校 "課程" 是兩回事。
isf 提供的，是 "非本地" 課程，在用家眼中，當然是國際學校。

常常 "強調" isf 等並非國際學校的，一直是少部分孩子剛入到佢地自以為所謂 "真" 國際學校的人，
例如某幾個以往是 esf kindergarten 的家長，就常常笑其他學校點點點。

其實，仔女在國際學校耐，就自然會知邊 d 是真正國際學校。

其實你小朋友是 isf ，何必挑起事端？
以往人地點講，不用執著。
這個 topic 冇人（未有人 ) 質疑 isf 的課程，不需要咁 sarcastic。
