Kellett conducted its interview for reception year small kids before Xmas. We didn't receive invitation so I considered it a dead end and almost forgot it. To my great surprise (with joy), we were informed yesterday that the school would like to interview my kid in a few days. Kellett said that due to covid-19, it had to make some change to the format, ie, now the school adopted 1:1 'stay-and-play'. One teacher will speak to and play with one child for 15 minutes.
I'm wondering if anyone interviewed by Kellett could kindly share his/her experience? Many thanks. We will go to Kowloon Bay campus yet I guess the interview format would be same as the HK island campus.

Teather will bring the the kid walk around to school without parent and without interview parent.if your child behave normally and able to speak/ understand simple English.. should be fine.

Don’t worry too much. The teachers are very nice and experienced. My son was very nervous before the stay & play session last year, however, he stayed comfortably playing in the waiting room and not even coming to find me at the cafeteria after the session 😅.

that is quite a relief, as my son tends to speak less than usual when dealing with strangers. He didn't want to speak for an interview 2 months ago and eventually he failed that one. Thank you for the comfort, KG

Hi Manda. We moved to Hong Kong in Jul-2020. The kid holds US passport. We submitted application to Kellett in Sep-2020 and received the interview invitation in mid Jan-2021 by email. We just finished the interview 3 days ago. I asked the school when we would receive updates re interview results, yet the school didn't respond :)
