 If your child is in S2, it is equivalent to ESF Y9.  If her english is good, I think you can try SC.  SC Y10-11 runs IGCSE curriculum, whereas RC is MYP.  RC school fees is higher than SC because it is a PIS school.  I think SC is a much more competitive learning environment than RC due to the demographics and family mix.
 IB teaching methodology is focus on inquiry based.  For ESF schools, since it is non-selective, as long as you meet their english level, you will be offered a place.  Children are free to choose iGCSE and IB subjects in Y10 and Y12 of and of course you need to meet a minimum standard of iGCSE level in order to take IBDP and the bar is not high and most students can achieve it.
