我老公同我都唔係基督徒，但我地覺得小朋友如果入讀後，將來小朋友做左基督徒都無咩問題，想聽聽大家意見，ICS有什麼優勝之處？學生會離開學校以外上堂嗎？有中學黎方面我清楚既，有機會入到好大學嗎？Thanks!

Are most kids well behaved? Would u feel the school is too strict in terms of discipline and how’s the academic level of the kids ?

Better to get a school trip as the impression is subjective. For academic results please go to www.icsannualreport.com

That feeing is very personal...even my husband and I hold different views

But one thing for sure, if you don’t go to R1, the chance of getting in at PG1 is almost zero.

Just curious , how is ur view and how different it is from your husband’s? Did u guys go to the kindy school tour? I have just visited the kindy in a tour but not their elementary schools as those are only held in sept and Oct each year. Not sure if they still have open days or other functions later in the school year....

Thanks. But no more school tours for the elementary/secondary school ... do u know if they have any open days or functions that are open to the public ?

No open days for ICS as I heard of. I've just been to the elementary school tour. But I guess the impression should be similar to kindy.

Did you get ICS offer? They have arranged interviews on Nov, and some of them received the offer letter.

We r not fr Christian background and my child is currently in ICS kindergarten. We do not mind our children to learn abt bible, Christianity as we feel they still have the right to choose what religion to believe in when they grow up. Yes, religion could be one of your concerns, but there are other aspects which you should consider too when you are choosing a school. In fact, discipline and culture are also very important. And I am very happy to see my child developing in these aspects. Strong language and family bond are much encouraged.

Thanks for the sharing indeed! For me, moral values and character are important and need to be built early on. I feel that an Christian education should emphasize these. So u feel that the ICS kindy has a good culture on discipline ? Are the teachers caring?

Cuz dun have the chance for interview? Or also have the interview but reject.

Both la. Since they have only 15-20 seats for pregrade 1, even if you are invited to interview, the chance of getting an offer is very slim. At my son’s interview day, I noticed that most candidates can speak native English +/- Mandarin.

ICS is a good school. Wish that my kid can study in ICS. We are going to have interview on mid of Jan.
