Did you attend the Prep interview last Sat? Only simple questions were asked so I don't think they're looking for academic excellence. They do mention in the school website that behavior and effort are important, so maybe these are also observed during interview...

Yes we did, but my boy didn’t tell us much. He said he was asked to draw himself and write his name. Then was given a picture of a cat to fill in the blank which I was really skeptical about. Thought they might have some mat time or story time together but he said he didn’t and was not allowed to read books(emoji)

So I wondered what they were looking for

Yes, we had self portrait and name writing too, teacher also asked for number/letter/color recognition... But I wasn't aware of fill-in-the-blanks... My daughter told me she played blocks and lego, and she built a castle together with another girl... No time for snack, that's her only complaint about the interview

Have you gone thru the parent interview yet? Got a chance to ask the admission manager? Mine is next week, so...

Wahaha yes the first thing my boy said was there wasn’t any snacks time!

Oh he didn’t mention about blocks, numbers and colors

Yes our parents interview is later this week
