Congrats!!! Did they invite your son to go for an interview after the parents interview?

You also applied for grade 5 in year 2017? I received their email on 17 Feb.  Yesterday during the parents interview, they told me that yesterday and today (i.e. 27 & 28 Feb) two days parents interview for Grade 5, last week, they did the parents interview for Grade 4.  If you didn't receive their email, you should call and ask them.  I heard that they will arrange parents interview for every applicants.

Yes,we applie grade 5 in 2017.但我地2月4日無去assessment, 18日先去的。你小朋友係咪4號做assessment 呀？

學校有無講grade5有幾多個位呀？我地18號嗰日有9個小朋友去assessment for grade 5.

They told me most of the additional places are lower grades (grade 2-3), grade 4 and 5 totally around 15 additional places only.
8 Feb also around 10 students for grade 5 I think

Do you two think it is very difficult for a local passport kid to get a place in CAIS? Actually, my kid is in the wait pool now .... (not grade 5).

you kid went for the interview after the written assessment? when did you receive their reply for putting your kid in waiting pool?

我剛打電話問幾時有parents interview,佢地話要一兩個星期之後，我諗grade 4-grade 6唔會咁快有消息，要等埋全部parents interview 先

My son is not applying for Grade 5, so I think there is different in the arrangement for the kids' interview.  My son attended the interview in January.  I guess the written assessment was embedded.  We then attended the parent interview in February.  
As far as I remember, the admission lady told me that the result would be released two weeks later.  However, in our grade, I received the result just two days after the parents' interview.  So, check your email frequently.

Thx.  I think quite a lot application for Grade 4 and Grade 5
