i am currently a PN parent and attended A+ before. i did a lot of wild guesses back then and try to estimate my chances, and my conclusion is:-
-) there are quite a number of full-time moms. so the deciding factor is not whether parents attend those pg, but normally if you are a full-time mom, u will attend the classes..and if u can be a full-time mom and still being able to pay the quite pricey pg school fees, they would have quite stable and good incomes...
-) many parents i know have two or more kids there, siblings definitely have priority and there are many of them
-) if you are their graduate, your kid has siblings studying there, you are their board members or staff, i don't think the performance in interview matters, coz i know some kids performed quite badly but has either one of the above and got offers
-) its after all ticking checklists, if you fulfill most of their 'standards', whether you have attended A+/Vic's pg(whether two or three classes per week)/performed outstandingly in interviews does not matter.
-) and the other way round is, if your kid performed outstandingly in the interview and attended their playgroups (kids from playgroups that i know), you may not stand a better chance when compared to those with siblings, alumni, board members, staff
