Schools in UK. Pls help to give me some comment !!

Please help to give me some comment on the following schools :

1) The Royal Masonic School for Girls, Hertfordshire
2) St. Mary's School Cambridge(inCambridgeshire)
3) St. Margaret's School  (in Bushey)
4) Queen Maragaret's School (in North Yorkshire)
5) Leweston School (in Dorset)

Acadamic results of the two Hertfordshire schools 1) Royal Masonic and 3) St. Margaret's are very close.  And both of them are located in the nice working class area.  St Margaret's is a smaller school, children may feel closely monitored all the time, even after school classes.

I suggest you asking about the no. of foreign student/no. of foreign boarders while you do your research.  I know many of the boarding schools now have more Chinese students than local students.

What does your girl want to do in university and which university is her target?

Unless she aim to study subjects like medical or law degree in Cambridge/Oxford/LSE etc, you do not have to worry to much when selecting upper school.

The study environment here is so different to those in HK.  Lives are rather quiet & simple in the UK, with less entertainment and thus provide a better atmosphere for study.  I see many of HK students only get 14 points in HKCEE, or some come from normal school in HK also achieve very good A-levels result and enter Imperial College/UCL universities.

Both of the Hertfortshire schools and the St. Mary's in Cambridge are within 30mins away from where i live.  If you need a guardian, please feel free to contact me for more details

St. Mary's School Cambridge is a good school, they got alot of subject for the kids too choose for their GCSE and A-level and cambridge its reli nice but its quite hard to get in and the school fee is quite high..
