anfield vs malvern

anfield K1 vs malvern PN
indeed my first choice is ESF but it's a 50 50 chance only so I need a backup.

I already paid for malvern pn before i got the offer from Anfield, i just cant decide if i should pay for Anfield as well as my daughter wont have to repeat PN.

How would you choose?

cos my daughter was born in Dec, only ESF and Anfield would let her join K1, most other schools have cut off from Aug-Oct and she will have to start with PN.

I think 1 back up is enough if ur target school is Esf . May I know which branch of Esf ?

tung chung.
tsing yi is nearer but it's too over-subscribed so i chose TC instead

TC I think is at least 90% chance , not 50:50

really hard to say but i certainly hope so!

i like anfield KG the best as it's got full day and teaches 繁中, but sadly i am not too keen about anfield primary.

I think she believes Anfield is better however, Anfield just released offer and she already paid certain amount for Marvelan as back up.

yes exactly.
if anfield had released the offer earlier i wouldnt have paid for malvern.

malvern sounds pretty nice but of course everything is just on paper. they have a good and long track record in UK, there is a through-train primary-secondary although KG students only have priority rather than a guaranteed place. the campus and facilities are brand new. the idea of forest school is quite attractive etc.

as far as i know, the annual tuition of Anfield + plus Malvern deposit should still be cheaper then Malvern?
Do you know which school is more likely to get admitted to ESF primary?

yes u are quite right, the monthly tuition for anfield is cheaper than malvern.

無意義地重讀一年，交多一年學費，又系無 track record  的新校，唔系好的back up。

唔系Anfield 的支持者，但最起碼它的英語環境對日后考Esf，是有利的。

If your target is ESF would it be better to attend Anfield k1? Imagine by the time you apply for ESF yr 1, you will be at Anfield k2, but Malvern k1 only.  So would you think your chance will be higher if you applied from k2 rather than k1?
