Re: any good international secondary school recommended?
My conclusion as well as what my peers tell me about.
basically the best quality is still ESF schools. putting aside the audit news lately, ESF still remains the best buy in the market, it offers relatively less price for good consistent quality education. AT the beginning of Alevels, the headmaster showed us the value added for students. they on average add a whole grade, and GCSEs and AL results are way above all the independent schools in UK.
\my ranking for ESF schools would bthe following.
Overall:
ISland school
KGV
South Island
Shatin
West Island
Either KGV or Island is the oldest school, and frankly speaking, their teaching levels are high, not to forget that ESF teachers are the highest paid secondary school teachers inthe WORLD! AS long as you don't offend anyone, they will leave you alone
If you are motivated enough, your child will get the best grades possible, the foreign teachers don't tend to interfere with the students devleopent which is a major PLUS!
It is not that other international schools aren;t good, such as HKIS or CIS...but they just charge you insane rates and their school cultures, i heard form my pals were a bit dodgy somtimes... this includes drug taking, smoking etc. altho it only limits to a small group, ti sitll is worth the concern for all parnets who want the best of their children |
