青衣英基已收了我女女在今年9月入讀 K1，但有以下問題想問:

1.  吃茶點是自由取食及每日有一段自由活動時間玩一些遊 戲，我想問吃茶點前及在自由活動後，是否有老師跟進洗手或是要小朋自已自動自覺去做呢?

2. 校舍內沒有窗，只有空調，小朋友會否很容易病呢?

3. Beacon Hill School / Kowloon Junior School 是否容易考上嗎?

My daughter is also admitted as K1 after Summer this year and she will be assigned in AM session.

請問各位如果我想替囡囡報讀 2008 年 9 月 青衣英基 K1, 學校大約幾時會接受報名? 面試大約會問些什麼問題? 用什麼語言?  難考嗎? 學校是否會 accord priority to people of certain background?

1) Each Kindergarten is happy to receive applications in accordance with the table below:

My child was born between/Submit application from/Start Date in K1 class
Jan - Dec 2004 /1st Oct 2006 - 31st Oct 2006/ September 2007
Jan - Dec 2005/ 1st Oct 2007 - 31st Oct 2007 /September 2008
Jan - Dec 2006 /1st Oct 2008 - 31st Oct 2008 /September 2009
Jan - Dec 2007/ 1st Oct 2009 - 31st Oct 2009 /September 2010

Applications posted before October will receive no advantage or priority as all applications will be processed ramdomly the deadline. Applications received after the deadline will be allocated a place on the waiting list in accordance with Category and priority.

You may only apply to one kindergarten - families living on Hong Kong island must apply to Sheung Wan Kindergarten. Families living in the Clearwater Bay, Cheung Kwan O, Hang Hau and Sai Kung area to Abacus Kindergarten and all other families residing in Kowloon or the New Territories must apply to Tsing Yi Kindergarten.

2) No interview required.

3) Admissions criteria


Places will be offered to successful applicants subject to availability.
Only one application may be submitted per student.
Students can only apply to the school in their zone (except Year One and Seven students applying during central applications).
Students must be able to cope with an English-medium curriculum. Please see language requirements
We prioritise applications by category (see below) and by date of application.
Applicants in category one will be invited for interview before those in category two, regardless of the date of application.

Category One


Children who speak English as a first or alternative language but do not speak Cantonese and/or read and write Chinese characters.


Category Two


Children who can access the local system but who also meet ESF's entrance requirements.


Within each category priority will be given to students who:


are siblings of children already attending an ESF school;
are attending an ESF Educational Services Ltd Kindergarten (for Year One only);
are former students returning from a period overseas;
have a parent who is a full-time employee of ESF;
are the children of former ESF students.

Hi my Child also got accepted by Tsing Yi ESF morning session this Sept.  I went to the parent's tour and I like the enviroment and atmosphere very much. I think they provide a creative thinking for the child and motivation of learning.  

Let's share experience together!
