Will you teach your kid simplify chinese or traditional chinese?

hi all,

Are there any ESF primary school's parent? May I know when the kid will start to learn Chinese? When will they learn to write? Are they learn simplify or traditional chinese?
What's about ICS, SIS, Kingston and Australian Int'l school etc...or other international school? Are they all learn simplify chinese?
Would you mind to share with me??

ESF - primary school - Mandarin lesson - simplified characters

AIS - simplified characters

I'm trying my best to teach my boy traditional  characters - before he refuses to do so.  I have to admit that simplified characters are much easier for kids.   
Once he asked me if he might write 鱼 in simplified characters although he did know the traditional once.  Why?  Becasue he caught up the simplified one when I read story for him.

My child's school provides simplify chinese.  So I encourage my child to read more traditional chinese books.  Actually, if they are living in Hong Kong, they will know both.

Does your boy studying in Int'l primary school? ESF? Did he learn Chinese from school? or just you teach him at home. I think it is not easy if you are the only one teach him Chinese.
After consideration, I think I should start to teach her traditional character first as I am not familiar with the simplified character, I am afraid I will make mistake on writing simplified character.

I am not planning to send her aboard until 17/18 years old. So basically she will stay in HK until she graduate from secondary school. So I think that I should better to teach my girl traditional chinese characters, as it is important in HK.

Yes, you are right. If the kid's school provides simplify chinese and if the kid is living in Hong Kong,

May I know when did your daughter/son start to learn chinese? they learn when they studied in the kindergarten or they just start to learn when they promoted to primary 1. Do they reject or confused? Because I suppose when your daughter/ son studies in the international primary, they must know more english than chinese. Would you mind to share?
