Not necessary. Yew Chung parents are mostly very casual. By the way, are you going to briefing about kindergarten, primary or secondary?

thanks!

the briefing is abt pre-school programme. we've submitted applications for the Infant and Toddler Learning Programme and the Romper Learning Programme in one go. we plan to let our girl attend ITLP now and RLP in september 2007. we're requested to attend a briefing session on 21/9.

I don't know much about pre-school of Yew Chung but heard from friends that many experienced teachers in kindergarten have been replaced by fresh graduates from 教育學院. If you are planning to let your kid stay at Yew Chung for kindergarten, you better do more fact finding.

This is not a true picture at all. YC Early Childhood Section still has a lot of experienced and caring teachers.

casual wear已經okay,我同囡囡面試ITLP時,我只係著牛仔褲添.

First of all, you're their potential customer. If they count people just from their out-looking. Then, you better find another school for your kid. So, formal dress seem to be un-necessary.

i remembered on the first parents' meeting, all my son's class teachers introduced themselves by stressing on their teaching experience and how long they had worked in YC... one is about 10 yrs, one is about 7 yrs and the expatriate teacher had many yrs expereince in early childhood education in elsewhere and worked in YC for 1 yr...

so, they are very experienced indeed (I think) and even from their outlook, they don't like fresh grad wor?!
