Re: YMCA International Kindergarten

My personal experience in YMCA Kindergarten at Tsim Sha Tsui is very good.
I highly recommend the full-day curriculum for K2 & K3 of which the AM session is like a normal half-day curriculum while the PM session consists activities only, including, swimming, golf, gym, art & craft, music, cooking, etc. Most of the activities are conducted by professional coaches instead of the kindergarten's teachers.
Most of the students will go to international primary school after K2 and YMCA still arrange a small class K3 to accommodate those students who would like to join the traditioanl education stream (there are a lot of Japanese in K3).
I think over 50% of the students are non-Chinese and they are not allowed to communicate with each other using their own mother languages except English in the class. One of the weak point I have to admitted that the Chinese teaching is very limited. There isl only a 40 min (or 20 min, I just forgot) session per week teaching Putunghua.

Y2Kchild,
Does your kid still study in YMCA?
How do you compare YMCA vs ESF?
I would like to send my kid to ESF P1, so I am interested in ESF Kinder as it has the prority to have an interview.
Do you know which primary school do the kids admit after YMCA kindergarten?
