Hi, parents, I am considering AIS, starting from Year 1. Can anyone tell me more about the school? Is it hard to get in even with Australian passport? And 收生，什麼人比較多，本地或外國，老師有沒有愛心，工課，學術，家長參與及小朋友喜歡這學校嗎？ Thanks.

Have you submitted your application yet? Recently there are not that many Aussie expat in Hong Kong or they also enter ESF so the admission becomes easier but also subject when you submit your application.

I don’t think it’s easier. I applied in May 2017 and just recently got offer for insertion to year 1 in coming May. That’s 2 years waiting even with passport priority.

大部份小朋友都係 reception 或 preparatory 開始讀, 除非中間有人走, 否則幾難插班 year 1.

想問下面試係啖都係用英文面試父母？因為我英文一般般怕影響佢，但爸爸有澳洲籍但爸爸都唔係native 有冇機會呢？

我去過呢一間嘅School tour，感覺職員老師講英文都幾快，相信佢哋希望家長至少聽得明佢哋嘅英文。我又去過Stamford American School嘅tour，佢哋係提供三語（英文，廣東話，國語）嘅選擇，對英文唔太好（我係指唔係好聽得明）嘅家長似乎包容一啲。如果你英文係流利，只係發音唔native，咁去邊一間國際學校都唔會有問題。

食飯就$3x 蚊一餐, 都可以自己帶飯

i live in yuen long so no school bus service covered.

I drive my girl every morning, and my helper pick her up at school bcoz I need to work.

I checked before there is no school bus service covered Yuen Long, and you can only get 1 way bus service as reception is only half day class.

But I do enjoy this 30 mins transport time everyday, when my husband drive I can read and talk with my baby girl :)
