Hi, are there any parents get 2nd interview or parents interview notification after the first interview in December 2017? Or anyone of you get notified any updates from CDNIS?

Which grade are you applying? I was told that result shall be released end of January or early February 2018 for reception grade.

I applied pre-reception, I’m wondering if anyone has news or second interview prior to late Jan

The school said that there are no parent interviews this year for pre-reception. Results will be released end Jan / early Feb.

Part 1: Both parents could stay with kids, all kids were playing in the library, play and relax, no assessor doing assessment there

Part 2: Both parents could stay with kids, 3-4 groups of children were playing in the outdoor playground, each of the kid was provided with a name tag, the assessors would look for the kids they needed to do assessment, observed and comment the kids nearby, assessors had no interaction and conversations with kids.

Part 3: Only 1 parent could stay with kids, all kids went into the classrooms to do assessment, they were divided in a group of 4. The kids were free to play in the classroom, the assessors talked to the kids, eg. What is your name? What are you playing? What are you going to draw, clean up time, etc. Then they had circle time, the assessor would tell a story and ask the children simple questions about the story.

The interview was stress-free, all kids playing happily during interview. And one good and thoughtful action of CDNIS was, if the kid didn’t like to talk to one assessor, another assessor would take place, that’s what made me think CDNIS is very good...

They said by mail, did you do the interview? Have you received mail from them yet?

How was the performance of your kid? Which district do you live? I’m wondering if district or  offer status will affect the posting date

But I must say, she only tell me if the letter has been sent out for my kid, that’s all. I was just asking if any letter has been sent out and she asked what’s my child application number
