You mentioned your friend's kid will go to ICS (P.1), may I know if ICS had already accepted the kid, or your friend is just planning?  To my understanding, ICS require the kid should reach age 6 for P.1, if the kid at age 5, the kid should be in K3 or they call pre grade 1.

My son is almost 3 years old and he is attending K1 in Tutor Time.  The school is very caring and accomodating but I think the syllabus is too difficult for him to comprehend since he is slower in cognitive development compared to children at his age.  But I must say the school is good value for money.

is it around $4500 for K1 ? how about Nursery 2 years old class? how much? anyone knows? thx!

My daughter studied in Tutor Time since she was about 1 year old. She did enjoy going to school every day.

I am sure that all the english and mardrina teachers are well-education and professional, such as Miss Jean, Miss Amy , Mr Croy, Miss susan and Miss Alison. My daughter love them a lot.However, I found that the classroom teachers are not very professional. Some of them even could not speak English fluently and some speak 'Hong Kong' sounds of English.

My daughter is currently studying at another international British-based kindergarten. Since children start going to year 1 at 5 years old,so now I am still struggling whether to let her to continue her education in international school or to switch her back to local kindergarten next year. I think it is not difficult for children to switch back to local school if their chinese are not bad.

This is just my opinion.

Dear puibb & others,  My baby is also one year old.  Does TT offer class for 1 yr old toddler as well?  Is it a nursery class? Or playgroup?  How many classes per week and for how long?  How much is the tuition fee?

They have playgroup for 1 year old baby, i called TT and asked about it.  They have Vacancie for my son to attend afternoon class playgroup on Tuesday and Thursday.  They said they are already full for the morning class.  2 days a week cost $1900 per month only. Each lesson last for 1 hr 30 minutes.

Hi all, I kind of agree with puibb.  My girl study in TT at Redhill in Tai Tam.  She joined the 1-1.5 toddler playgroup 2 months ago.   The english teachers are not professional enough to handle young children.  

The first native english teacher was not caring at all.  Her interaction with the children are not frequent enough.   (There were only 7 toddlers in class)  After 1 month, this first teacher quitted, and a new Australian young lady replaced her.  This lady is even worse, you can tell from the very beginning that she has no experience in handling toddlers.  Though, this new teacher picked up very fast and perform better after 2 weeks.  Now, I have withdrew from the class and go for some other playgroups.   

But one good thing, their Mandarin teacher is very caring and my girl likes her, and picked up a few mandarin vocab very quickly.

At first, I want my son to study at TT.  After reading some ma ma 's opinion.  I will change my mind. Do you have any recommendation of good playgroup in HK side?
