Yes, I could purchase the NR but the question is whether I'm willing to pay for it. In this case, that 'pay to play' thing becomes totally unfair - my son passed the interview too, why didn't RC offer him a place? Why would he need to pay money to be moved up on waitlist? Why did his classmates who never pay for NR received an offer? What the hxxx did he do to deserve these? If we intended to get him in with money, we should have bought it before the interview, no need to wait until today.... We're not preparing for long waits nor to pay for the PREMIUM SERVICE to jump the line at this moment.
NR policy makes a good economic sense but it also represents an idea of putting profit first.
