Mum 99, again my advice to you is 'chill out, mate' (better say in Chinese as well 冷静点、朋友).  Your replies are always full of anger.  Com'n, be a bit light hearted and it is not the end of the world.  
So now, tell us your view on the subject then... I dont remember seeing you writing anything about it except defedning your friends all the time.

I can't answer for thankful.  In my case, I was just looking for info about Fate's new book.

BTW, the UK forum turns out to be no bad.

Also try the 八公 forum (http://www.batgung.com/index.php) which is quite popular among expats working in HK.  I got some very useful information from the guys there after posting a few questions about schooling in the UK.

Hey imfine, in a minute, I thought you are THANKFUl.  I was almost convinced by mum99 that you are the same person (just joking!!) Now reading both the uk and this one, Mum99 is really like a headless chicken (the meaning in English, not in chinese btw) trying all her mighty attempts to protect her 'boss'.

type409, in a normal conversation, I dont think it is a problem to say someone is 'wierd'.  It is not a nasty word.  I dont mind being called wierd at all.  But when Mum99 is there after everyone who does not say good things about Fate, then definitely you will be attacked.  Take care!!

THANKFUL, if I were you I wont just leave the situation like this.  It is a serious crime of making unwanted calls at night.  Now Mum99 is accusing you of doing it without any evidence, I think she HAS CROSSED the line.  We have been arguing (if that is the right word) verbally out of nothing (just like children finger pointing each other, and I must say, very silly) but her accusation now is just too much.

Mum99, I hope you can bring out some evidence.  Fate was an ex-cop, wasnt he?  Didnt you learn anything from him at all?

It is my last week at work which have given me plenty of time to carry out some detective works.
I have read through some of “Fates” threads that have involved mum99 and Papa2ooo.

I have found some very very very interesting fact which may ad a twist in this thread!!!!!

In the thread on “the secret of Losing Millions” mum99 have had long argument with Papa2000.
Some of the phases she has used to describe Papa2000 include.

“Losers love Attention Seeking”

“he has the opportunity to become a BETTER PERSON, but he has CHOSEN to REMAIN "LOW"”

“you are so AFRAID Fate's post/forum has MANY MORE readers than YOURS”

“ATTENTION SEEKING LOSERS”

“You see, LOSERS don't mind LOSING TIME, they don't like LOSING FACES”.

“I can also see YOU BEING that MISERABLE "BUS UNCLE"”

“many women smarter than you, REAL LITTLE MAN”.

“You're such a LOSER, desperately SEEKING ATTENTION on a DAILY BASIS by doing the WRONG THINGS”.

Reading on it didn’t make sense to me.
Only last year they had been arguing as if there was no tomorrow but in this thread it seems they have known each other for years and were the best of friends.

Can anyone guess why?

If you take a closer look at the profile of the Papa in the thread “The secret of Losing Millions” and the the Papa in this thread……………have you managed to find the difference?

Yes the real “Papa2000” uses the number “zero” and joined BK on 05-01-06 and the fake “Papa2ooo” uses the letter “o” instead of the number and joined only recently on 07-08-03.

Would this constitute to a serious case of identity theft!!!!

Thankful, Mighty, One Hair, iamfine, Daydream and to all the other parents that have contributed to this thread we have all been fooled by a fake “Papa2ooo”

Should we call the police to investigate/deal with this? I will PM the real Papa2000 to let him no of the bad new!!!!

Yes Papa2ooo how LOW can you get, stealing other peoples identity!!

Although I mentioned I was not going to reply unless provoked, I just thought this would be an interesting fact the others would like to know.

Well lets forget all these false identities for a moment but just think simply.  What will Fate get by putting up a weird thread which he had done the same sort of discussion long time ago?  He wanted to raise attention from members who hadnt seen his previous thread before.  And thinking by bragging of having the experience of living in 4 countries worldwide and as an top ex-cop, he will attract some followers and ideally at the end, if he is really writing a book or doing investment consultancy, he will earn some potential customers without paying any marketing fee.  Unfortunately, the trick is so naive that everyone (almost?) sees it.  I am sure he didnt expect THANFUL or IMFINE to pour so many sharp questions on him.  How can he answer you guys when he hasnt got a point at all?

THANKFUL you must do us a favour by telling us the name of his book (if there is really one, that is) so that we can put it on our "not to buy" list.
