Thanks a lot, 可否告知UN 雙語班既英文和 Bunnie / Duck 國際班既英文有什麼大分別?
雙語班既英文是否跟traditional教學而 國際班既英文是否用活動教學?

很慚愧﹐我實在唔知道雙語班既英文﹐同國際班既英文教學方法/課程等有咩分別。但我覺得朗思整體上係活動教學﹐唔會係雙語班﹐國際班出現唔同。

我女以英文為第一語言﹐讀左全日班(即半日雙語+半日國際)才接觸中文﹐所以我地都冇留意佢既英文進度﹐反而較多注意中文進度和勤加連習。

The difference is only in time, not in method.  Bunnie/Duck has 3 hours in English, bilingual class has 1 hour in English.  So if 3 hours, there will be more time for teaching the kids to do their work, more story or project time.

All classes use activity based approach to teach.

But my nephew just tell me that some of the classmates are studing at bunnie/duck class but they are studing together during the english lesson and my nephew is studing at UN PM class at MOS branch.

My daughter (now in KT Think LN am) is accepted by Victoria Kindergarten (CWB) for K1 pm class (going to be IB-approved).  I am thinking a lot whether to continue studying in Think next year or change to Victoria.

Can you give me some opinions or suggestions?

I agree with you.  my son is in international school he really enjoys going to school and i think that is what is all about.

Victoria and Think are quite different in terms of the curriculum, language and teaching style. You might also have to think about location wise and which Primary school to apply. Victoria (Primary) is planning to move to Southern part of HK island. Another difference is Think has much smaller class size.

Dear All,
I am a new member, hv two girls.
Would like to choose btw St. Catherine and Think (MOS) I intends to send them to IS or Top Eng Pri in HK. would like to hv yr advise.
1. How is the eng std in St Catherine, any problem for SC student getting into IS, means difficult in study?
2. Thinks MOS , is the std too easy for getting to top eng local school.

小女同樣被SC取錄, 而家讀緊Think LN, 我都就K1讀邊間學校煩緊  

不過我唔知唸得岩唔岩...  我覺得兩間學校唔同性質, 若想入讀傳統小學應該揀SC or KV呢類; 如果想入ISor私小英小就應該讀番Think~ 我感覺think英文應該會好過SC添, 始終每日英語環境同學習時間, Think都多過SC, 而且think比較少班教學~ 所以暫時好大決定會比番小女讀Think既國際+雙語全日班

係呢.. 妳有咩唔同見解, 大家分享下呀, 我都好難抉擇呀真係:

Thanks for your sharing.
I knew from friends that SC is very popular and has better chance to go into local top primary. But no one told me how good the student has been trained.
I tends to put them into THINK. But still want to know if the Think student will feel difficult to study in local eng or chi pri?
BTW, is you daughter studying in THINK (MOS)? May I know your comment on
1.Teachers
2. Environment
3. Project approaching training.

SC係名校一定無質疑架啦! 我都聽朋友同BK媽咪講, 佢地出名, 英文好, 升小好, 活動教學, 小朋友都讀得開心~
不過負面消息都唔少, 話D老師無愛心, 若果小朋友跟得上就無問題; 但若果追唔上, 家長同小朋友都有好大壓力! 不過始終係名校, 我都相信出黎既小朋友係有番咁上下質數, 所以受名小學歡迎囉... 不過就要搏一搏追唔追得上咁款囉  

小女讀Think(Mei Foo)架~ Mei Foo Branch老師都好有愛心耐性, 班主任都同我好多聯終, 講番女女學校情況! 同埋女女讀得好開心, 番學短短兩個幾月, 學左好多野番黎, 同埋乖巧左好多, 最開心係佢而家好主動學習

I have also picked Think and rejected St. Cat last year, it is difficult to compare which one is better unless you have studied in both.  I picked Think because it offers more options, bilingual/ international, half day or full day..., more English learning, teachers are caring, and no. of students in one class is smaller.

So far my kid is happy and very motivated to learn.  So depends on what you expect.
