No moral education but four OLE including Religious Studies, Visual Arts, Music and Physical Education.

In current year, for those students taking Visual Arts and Physical Education as the 3rd elective, they still need to attend the OLE classes of those two subjects.  Music could be the fourth elective.

If students take either M1 or M2 as well, the workload will not quite heavy.  At present, I guess there are about 90 plus of these boys in the school

剛剛收到學校的offer letter, 現正考慮登記與否。請問各位家長 St. Paul College 是不是有獎學金？要全級考第幾先可apply?獎學金cover幾多percentage of total school fee? Thanks

Ah! I wish I knew, you can call the school office to find out all the details.  The staff is very helpful.   


By the way, hearsay is that the top 3 of the form have scholarship of about half the annual tuition fee.  There are many prizes for other achievements but the amount is not very substantial.  I was told some of them rather keeping the cheques for good memory.


The school did offer scholarship for some intakes.  However, unlike other school's practice, it seems that the school does not give special pressure to those ship owners.

Just received offer from SPC today.  Now also consider to register or not.  But would like to know the traffic arrangement?  We live in Tiu King Ling MTR, how to go to SPC?  Is there any public transport to SPC in Central?  I was told there was a shuttle mini-bus there, am I correct?

ic.  thanks for the information.  it's good to know that students don't need to take moral education as an extra elective subject in DSE.  i learn from newspaper that students of some schools have to compulsorily take 8 subjects.  Not all students are all-rounded. And the workload for taking 7  subjects are not less.  I think it's a better arrangement to allow students taking 7 subjects only.

7科的好成績，再加M1 或 M2 已是夠入任何熱門大學学科了。   音樂作為唯一的第8科，又能照顧到有天份的同學。

Parents, whose sons with 2013-14 S1 offer, can learn more about the school by spending sometime reading the Principal's messages.   http://www.spc.edu.hk/principal_message.php?mid=1-16  


Those messages are good quality reading materials for Liberal Study as well.

One example of mine, I had asked my son to read the following article again when that tragic incident, in which a Chinese young girl was offered no helping hands from those walking by, when she was knocked down and run over repeatedly by cars.

Sadly, at the end of the day, my son concluded that the positive outcome would not happen in China, which I did not agree with.  It should only take more time or more sad stories to make that positive outcome arrived.

SPC does work hard to provide an environment to make her students think, or as in the case of this afternoon, with help from her old boys, to make 32 of them ran hard along the HK Trail.   SPC might not be able to deliver 8 5** students, but to-night there are 32 boys with pains in their legs, and also long lasting friendships, memories and experiences when they go to beds.

2) 夏令時間是由幾月至幾月？夏令的放學時間又是怎樣的？
3) 除了學費和課外活動費之外，總有冇其它雜費？
4) 最後，在簡介會聽到 St Paul College 有個叫 Global Classroom Program。請問是什麼東西？是不是 for senior      
    students only & 是否compulsory 要 join 的？

(上課時間是 一至五，8：30〜3：30, 但早上要約8：10到達）
2) 夏令時間是由幾月至幾月？夏令的放學時間又是怎樣的？
（夏令上課時間為7：55〜1：35）
3) 除了學費和課外活動費之外，總有冇其它雜費？
（無乜雜費，而有D課外活動指明到達一定的出席率，甚至會退回部份或全部費用）
4) 最後，在簡介會聽到 St Paul College 有個叫 Global Classroom Program。請問是什麼東西？是不是 for senior students only & 是否compulsory 要 join 的？
（學校會為學生安排外地訪問團，多數是在暑假，今年有分學術、語文、體育、音樂及領袖訓練。是給校隊、樂團團員、幹事，不是compulsory的。）
