PwC cuts ...

Charge on value added activities and cost saving or revenue sharing are common in management consultancy projects. It’s not new stuffs.

The major problem is the auditing practises so traditional and no efficiency for decades.

My son charged a project on 200 hours but the work only 50 hours, after AI evaluation。

覺得AI現在只是在起步的階段，未來會發展成怎樣？只可以說一步一步的觀察自己甚至覺得隨着AI嘅發展教育嘅模式可能都會有所不同。

我哋還需要六年小學，七年初中的教育嗎？

未來critical thinking’s, 社交能力，創新能力skill 可能比knowledge based 學習模式更加重要

我慶幸十多年前作出一個明智嘅選擇，棄NSS，選擇IB。

當時我想的是IB learner profiles 較彈性及前瞻性，就算做唔足，都係有幫助。

The profile aims to develop learners who are:

Inquirers
Knowledgeable
Thinkers
Communicators
Principled
Open-minded
Caring
Risk-takers
Balanced
Reflective.

看兒子現在的發展軌跡及方向，Al或者其他disruptive technologies對他的影響相對比較低！

非常之同意， 但係呢啲IB 特質，比較難通過考試排名去量度。

所以有啲家長難免覺得IB在小學和中學初段，冇知識學。學術基礎偏弱。

自己覺得大學之前，談不上什麼學術。在這階段過分強調學術，花費大量時間去操練，其實是對一個全人發展嘅浪費。

這個disadvantage 之後在大學或者出嚟做事慢慢顯露出嚟

點樣講呢，我冇乜擔心學術方面，因為升中四的時候，兒子選擇的NSS組合+M2是最熱門的，也是派到，跟IB完全一樣組合，而且那些學科中三也是級頭成績。

所以我哋心知他的實力可以去到邊度，如果考DSE也是一樣不會差，反而易啲入三大神科。

原來阿仔將PE，hedge fund 這些也歸類入投行類，另一類是Asset Management ，是fund houses 那些。

他較為有興趣的是Fintech start up，如果啱心意，可以賭一舖。

我只係覺得很多人強調贏在起跑线，短跑起跑當然重要，如果係馬拉松，耐力、鬥志比起起跑爆炸力更重要。

係低㗎，他還在儲蓄退休金，到差不多才去賭大細，他都講就算失敗，隨時都搵到其他機會，start up 失敗係正常，有成功及失敗經驗加持，下一份start up 可能更易成功，因為冇咁易上賊船！

有人話年輕人後生有本錢試和錯，但我覺得相反，好似你個仔那樣一早計劃好，早些有退休金和專業知識的本錢。之後無後顧之憂去試其他Fintech。

任何人都可以有意見，但不少係零創業經驗，夢想是美好，現實是性感。都係老點年輕人去硬闖。

他有非常好的稅務顧問，他將所有bonus及一定比例的收入轉入private pension，這些部份係tax free，而且公司會俾埋這部份的NI入佢private pension，滾存速度好快。
