I would like to add 1 more question

1) It mentioned to take the AR quiz in the ZPD,what
    does it mean? Kids are going to take the quizzes
    on the books in order to earn points and prizes.
    So will the books be taken from school for them
    to read??

hi happy together,

1. they can get the books from library.
2. don't know.
3. every book got certain point, for their level, maybe 0.5-1.5 point?? my son borrow a book last week is 0.5 point. after that, when they return the book, they can take a quiz in library's computer, if they pass the quiz, then they can get that 0.5 point.

I called CAIS today and the librarian told me that for K3 students, the teacher will told them story in class and then bring them to library to complete the quiz.

Hi all CAIS parents,

I went to the open house on 23/9 and I was impressed by their introduction. I found the atmosphere in the school is very warm. The teachers and students treat each other as friends which is hard to be seen in the local schools. Both my husband and I like the school very much. After the open house, I have some questions:

1. Can the student choose both putonghua & french instead of either one? Is the fee included in tution fee?
2. If the student joined the school band, will the school provide learning lesson of musical instrument (e.g. trumpet, piano, etc.)? Do we need to pay extra for these lessons?
3. Is it diffcult to get a seat for K3? How about grade 1? more difficult?

Sorry for aksing so many questions.

My girl told me they do the quiz from the computer, if you achieve a certain marks and you will award the points.

My boy is having the Chinese class once a week after
school , I think it is a MUST for them to learn Chinese
if they are studying in Int'l school.

1. u can't  choose both putonghua and french. the fee is included
2. i don't know, but i can ask the teacher later,
3. i don't think it is diffcult to get a seat for k3, as after the interview, the principal will tell u wether u can get the seat or not. but have no idea about grade 1.
