Congrats!! Ur kid was born in 2017?When will be the deadline for accepting the offer?

Thanks. Yes born in the end of 2017. The acceptance deadline is 17th March, we will accept.

My son is still in 2yr class. Since i didnt pay ESf for denture, I applied both harrow and ESF hoping for a place
It is a very difficult decision to choose between these two schools.
They are both excellent and have their own strengths.

I personally like IB more, coz I appreciate all rounded development.
Having said that, Kids will definitely excel in both schools.
Choosing esf over harrow is just my personal preference.

Have not made the final decision yet. But for now prefer Harrow over ESF although ESF is so far so good. The reason being:
1.longer hours with the option for boarding at older ages
2.much better facility: sport and exercise is one of the important factors we consider when choosing a school for my kid who loves sports very much
3.more structured mandarin program and longer hours at lower grades
4.better university placement: better average academic results+better college counselling provided
5.lower student:teacher ratio

Given my kid is only 3 years old, I cannot tell at this stage whether GCSE or IB suits her better. Each programs got its own merits and demerits, so I just take into consideration all the objective factors. The only concern now is that need to repeat K1 if Harrow.

Agreed. But if the pupil is well-rounded then IB is an excellent program but if not, it would probably turn into quite pain.

I encountered the same dilemma a year ago. My elder son got offers from Harrow and another IB school. My elder son had to repeat K if choosing Harrow, given cut-off date of DOB. At the end, we dropped Harrow’s offer and chose to be the small b at the other IB school. So far, my elder son is very happy at his current school and he could follow the academic requirements too.
Just that, my younger son doesn’t have luck to pass the interview at his brother’s current school, and Harrow doesn’t give him an offer too, quite disappointed
