International school vs. CKY(蔡繼有學校)

I have not started searching primary schools for my younger daughter yet, still a few years to go.  I have applied Phoenix for my elder daughter as 插班生, but no vacancy, now she ends up getting a place in ESF.  She is studying very happily so far, yet there is very little Chinese, so need to supplement her with Chinese lessons after school.

CKY is one of the school to consider, need to understand more actual details later. They have introductory sessions soon.

Are you searching school for year 06?

May be you can try KCIS.  Teachings are conducted in both English and Mandarin.  They will have mandarin lesson everyday.

Hi WYmom,
Actually, I'm not searching school for 06. It is still a far way for me, my girl is only 1 right now. I'm searching infromation about primary school may be due to my 職業病 (I work as a speech therapist). I really concern my girl's language ability (=> I choose international kinder )! I expect she can master oral proficiency for both English, Mandarin and Cantonese during her kindergarten stage.
Before I've read comment from this topic, CKY is my 1st/ 2nd choice!  
WOW, your girl is so smart, She can get a place in ESF. I've heard from other mama that ESF is really hard to get in!!       How old is your two angels?

Your daughter is only 1!  I guess you can see how things go in kinder first.  My girls are 9 and 3.  I have similar expectation as you.  My elder girl is just a bit lucky, maybe.  I really don't know which type of school is better, just trial and error.  I believe when your daughter applies for primary schools, there are a lot more choices for you.  So no need to worry now.

My elder daughter has got proper Chinese education upto P.3 in Chinese local school before joining ESF.  For my younger daughter, if she joins ESF from P.1, she will not be able to learn Chinese well as the Chinese teaching in ESF is not enough.  It is not so easy to slot in ESF in the middle.  So have to consider different schools.
