If they asked you for reassessment, seems that you  are in a good position, as least they don't reject you directly or just simply put you on waitlist.

RC, this yr have 600 interviews, the place just 120. so, waiting is a normal.

And, many parents have applied, RC or sjs or CAIS (paid day 6/2/2017)

After, 24/2/2017 many place.

Q: My child has been placed on RC's wait list.  Can you tell me his wait list position?

A: No, we will not. It is simply because that 'number' will most certainly change and it is not possible to update it whenever it happens. For example, the wait listers may be moved up when the children in front of them withdraw or when their siblings get admitted to RC (other year groups); And they may get pushed down too when the other wait listers purchase the NR (no guarantee at this stage).

The 'number' is not fixed.  How can we keep updating it? And if we don't, then those who have got the 'original' numbers might assume our being dishonest. Lose lose situation!!

If you are offered a waitlist place, then the most practical thing to do is to reply 1.)"Yes" and wait or 2.)  'No, thank you' and move one.

We appreciate your understanding. Truly.

Of course, they won't tell you the waitlist number, Someone called RC admissions, they first thing they they mentioned was that already some waitlist applicants are interested to buy NR to jump to the front of the queue.

So, $400k, money counts.

【晴報專訊】都市人繁忙，一家人同枱食飯各自修行比比皆是。但中大一項研究發現，家長與子女之間若多閒談、多談學校事、並多一起吃晚飯，子女的成績會更好。若以100分為滿分，推算可提高2至3分，即等同於提高學習動機及自信等效能。
中大教育數據研究中心抽取1.5萬名2015年TSA考生的成績及相關家長與子女填寫的問卷分析，學生來自小三、小六及中三。研究發現，有80％至85％家長每天都與子女吃晚飯，但只有53％至64％家長每天都與子女閒談，有14％至20％家長與子女閒談的次數每周少於一次；而即使同一家庭，對「閒談」的定義各有不同，家長往往認為自己已常與子女傾談，但子女卻認為只有過年過節時，家長才會與他們傾談。
多談學校事 成績高2至3分
中大教育心理學講座教授侯傑泰指，研究顯示，多談學校生活，能讓子女成績更好，以100分為基礎，多與家長傾談的子女學業成績能提高2至3分。
侯指，不要少看那2至3分，因提高分數相當於能提高子女對學習的動機及自信心，長久能推動學業上進。但他強調，多閒談、多談學校及多共膳只是導致子女成績好的其中一個原因，非唯一因素。
重表達關心 勿只查問功課
中大教育心理學副教授伍斐然指，家長可能認為只問「做晒功課未呀？」便屬閒談，實際上最重要是向子女表達關心。她提醒，家長與子女閒談時，不應只顧查問自己想了解的事情，應先聽子女分享他們想分享的事情，然後才問家長想知的事；而傾談的習慣應從小培養，不應待子女於中學時踏入青春期後才埋怨他們不傾談。
伍又指家長要因材施教，若子女已很緊張成績，則不應與其多談學校的事，但若子女對學業過於輕鬆，則家長應與其談成績，讓子女了解家長關心他們的學業，避免發生不必要的問題。

咁Rc 既 有interview but waiting 同 無interview but waiting , 兩者有乜分別，其實定係佢地finally 係random 抽

No interview but waiting (still waiting for an interview, may pass or fail)=less chance
Have interview but waiting = passed interview already, just waiting for a spot

QBS 去年有成功個案。第一輪沒有in，四五月才有得in，最後收左。之前本區有家長分享過。

我今年報QBS都沒得in，希望會成為今年的成功例子啦。。。  XD
