Thanks bellarie for your reply.  I thought you are one of the candiates whom we met during the play session on 17Apr (Sun).  We were separated in groups of different colors on that day, I though we were in the same group   

Actually, we are TC kinder candidates for K2, my child is Dec baby, I wondered my kid was grouped to TY K1 play visit cause I expected other kids are big Bs, but candidates we met that looks similar age with my kid, thus I would like to know if you are one of the candidates that day.

Well, my child's performance on that day was poor, too timid, and no interest to play with those toys that set, just answered my questions in simple wordings and in low voice... no hope

Actually my girl is a super small b too. Born late Nov!

On the day of play visit, I didn't see any grouping arrangement.

Actually she didn't perform much. She was just busy playing the dough.

Cause at home we mainly use Cantonese with her. So a total English environment is quite new but she knows eng ok. So she only respond the teacher yes/ no.

The teacher then came to us asking us some questions. I really think that ESF not only is looking for suitable child. They also look at the parents a lot. So what I want to say is, even though your kid may not perform well, your performance counts!!!!!

And at the end, we are very likely to turn down the offer since we already submitted everything to VIC also . My husband and I still thinking

Many thanks for your message which is encouraging, I hope my performance wasn't too bad and can assist.

We are cantonese family too, my child can speak English in loud voice and in sentences at home (though sentences were incomplete or gramatically wrong sometimes), but on that day, sigh...

I am feeling miserable when waiting results, I hope we could receive the outcome soonest, no matter reject or accept.  

As for your case, I wish you and your hubby could come to an agreement and made the decision very soon. Anyway, many congrats to your gal that received offer from TY kinder.

You know it's so true that we cannot control the kids much..,

Ture, I'm too stress.  Actually, this is not our first time being turn down, my child has been put on waiting for 1year already, it seems like we have no hope with Abacus, thus we give up waiting there and switch to TC which seems bigger chance there, though TC is quite far from where we're living, we are living in Kln East.

Hello I think we are in the same group. We went to the play session in TC last Sunday....My kid was quite shy and he didn't respond much to the teacher...

I am waiting for the result too...hope that both of us can get it!

You meant you attended TC play visit on 17Apr at TY campus? Blue? And are you applying for K2 as well?

Actually, I guess places are still available with TC Kinder, cause it still accepting admissions, whether or not other candidates accept offer is not my concern.  What worries me is, TC reject us even places still available due to my kid doesn't reach their standard.

They hv just released the result thru email for those attended play-visit last sunday

Many thanks to all your messages, which comfort me a lot.

I originally think if my kid was accepted, we should be informed right away.  I saw another thread that interview done at WKS yesterday, offer was already sent today. If couldn't receive offer immediately, that means fail, I felt almost hopeless.

Honestly, I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep well and eat these two days

Yes yes, shall buy a cake to celebrate, I tried to inform my hubby but he still working, not yet read my message.  Perhaps, my kids wouldn't know what had happened and wonder whose birthday today, haha...

My situation was, keep on waitlist of TY for a year.  Recently received a letter fm ESF TC campus, mentioned I could change my application fm TY to TC, which may shortening the waiting time.  I called to office last week, they told me just need to send the email about transferring of our application and principle will check and read our file.  The staff said we don't need to hv an interview again since the places in TC are still available.  So far, I haven't heard any news from them.  May I know Which campus's offer did u get?

TY is very competitive , if I were you I will try TC too.
