Dear Vrindavan,

In fact, I was the first (around 7:45am when they opened the door) to hand in my application, but in BHS. But then as we moved to Ma On Shan, BHS transferred us to SJS but promised that SJS will put us back to the position that we should entitle. Our position now in the waiting list is 7X ! That's why I want to know the time you handed in the form. Please try to remember and tell me. I really feel that ESF's admin is very loose and they are really bureacratic, no transparency at all !

I don't know how would I choose if SJS offers my son a place. Honestly, it's the "brand" effect that makes a lot of parents prefer the "traditional" ESF and see Phoenix as a second choice. That's true to me too. However, judged by my real experience with BHS/SJS and Phoenix (though not much), my perception to Phoenix is better. I feel that Phoenix is a more friendly and passionate school. I have no regret to put my son in Phoenix. Just feeling unfair with SJS. I'll call them after the Easter holidays.

I have my maid starting lining up there at mid-night around 4am (cos' we live just opposite to BHS at that time), then I go there with the form at 7:xxam. My maid was the first in the line when I arrived. Then they open the gate before 8:00am and I was the first to hand in the form.

i will wait for an interview at BHS rather than SJS,
if the BHS interview is successful,
will request a transfer to SJS automatically

or

i will hand in the application form directly to SJS

I know and I did prepare to take the interview from BHS first. But we did not get an interview from BHS either. And our letter did not reach us as we'd moved to the new address. I called BHS and they said I have to wait, when I told them that I'd moved, they had to transfer me back to SJS. Anyway, it's over. Both BHS and SJS are not easy. I'd given up. Just fad up with their chaotic administration.
