Does anyone know whether Kingston's Chinese language is strong or not?  I mean both kindergarten and primary school.  Thanks!

We can only compare among International kinders for its chinese standard.  My personal point of view, Kingston's chinese is Mandarin and Cantonese is not allow inside the school life ,  it should be a reasonable standard for composition.  Of course, additional help at home or outside should be a bonus.

Any mom can tell me more about Kingston?  My son is going to apply for the 2 year old class.  They said if he doesn't start form that class, the chance for being admitted in K1 is pretty low.  So, I am eagar want to know the quality of this school.  If it's not good, I will send him to Tutor Time and wait for the result of ClS or Cdnis.  I like IB programme.  Thanks a lot!

Hi Shopgirl2004,

To answer this question, my personal view is 'Possible' but not 'recommend'.   The kid will be finished  P1 (mean K3 in local school) before swtich back to local school.  However, in most cases his age will be 1 yr older because international kinders accept big kid only.   The kid will be taught in Mandarin and English with much less homeworks during his few years in kinder.   Switch back to local schools will be the last thing your kid want.

Anyway, once you have decided to let your kid go to international,  you would start to like their theory and ideas behind.  Few years later, my guess is  highly you will be  stick to this phlilosophy and be glad about it.

JJMon&Dad: I have asked your comment in another topic too.  However, still haven't heard from you.  Just aware what u have mentioned below.  Is that the reason you do not recommend the school?  any more?

I wonder you are sure for that or not?  Or when did your kid commence 2-yr-old class?
my understanding is existing students have priorities for upper grades but cannot secure the am space for those in pm class currently.
