Hi Fattymom,
Take your child to visit both JIS and RC and let him (and yourself) have a feel of both schools. If the kids in the school look happy and the teachers look enthusiastic, then it is the right place to go. You may let your child make the decision after the visits. Kids sometimes have instinct that we adults do not understand and their decisions based on feeling and instinct may be better than our rational evaluation.
With regard to your wish for long-term friendship from pre-school to secondary, I am afraid you are thinking too far ahead.

). If my son go to RC together with his best friends, it may be easier for him to cope with a new school and classmates. It's also a happy experience to have some friendship starting from pre-school to secondary school! What do u think?
