My daughter attended the admission assessment in early January. She has met the admission criteria and was put on the wait pool. Can anyone share whether kids on the wait pool will have a high chance to get in eventually? Thank you.

No one can answer for sure. Two years back, my friend and I were both in waiting pool , then in early August I received the call but I did not take it, I immediately told my fiend and asked her to call ICS to show her keenness. However when she called, the staff told her to keep waiting the waiting list was long, and there was no way to know where she was but if it’s her turn they would contact her. At the end she didn’t get the call waiting.

My kid's interview assessment will be held later this week, does it mean even my kid passes the assessment, it will be highly likely that he will be put on the waiting list too?

Usually, "small baby " will have interview in Jan. It is their practice. However, I am not sure if they have separate quota for "small baby"

I just checked, I am big Baby but I still got assessment in end of Jan at that time.

My gut feeling is that the date of assessment depends much on when you submitted the application.

I applied for Reception 1 in November 2017 but I haven't received any call or email for an assessment. Do I still have any chance to get an assessment? Mine is not big B nor Christian.

May I ask if this is a second interview or a first one? Have you accepted offers from other IS already? And I suppose your kid is not from ICS kindergarten?
