You need to weight out the pros and cons of both LS & IS, make sure you know what you're getting your child into, and stick by what decision you've made.
Why would you want to change mid-way? It also depends on which school he's coming from, if you don't mind me asking?
Maybe IB will suit your child. It emphasizes acquiring knowledge through different means like using the internet and reading, not just listening to the teacher.
