Thank you! We are at the moment deciding between a school that offers both IGCSES and A-Levels vs a school that offers only A-Levels. Was wondering if IGCSES give the students an advantage.

The school is more important than the curriculum. But I'd be surprised any school would offer A levels without IGCSEs. Do you mean an IS that does both like Kellett or Harrow VS a DSS school like DGS or SPC?
But one is a boy's school and one is girl's only. Anyway, if it were these two schools, I don't think IGCSE matters too much.
Or perhaps you mean SPCS (St Paul's convent school) Vs DGS? Still I don't think it matters too much. Unless you mean to let your daughter go abroad for sixth form studies.

In my opinion, both schools will be good enough to prepare your daughter for a levels. I personally don't think IGCSE make too much of a difference. I think you need to consider which school has a better atmosphere for your child.
