i had just applied yr1 for my daughter for the entry of 2019-2020.

I wonder if there are limited place for yr1 as The spaces are normally fill up by the students from rc?

Besides, is it hard to get a place with local passport if I want to apply for international steam?

Yes, fill by by reception.

And it is not about passport, fis is very popular for foreigners (maybe due to the reasonable school fee), and it is a selective school which assess children's English and basic math during yr one interview.

For the reception, they are just doing age appropriate things like puzzles, drawing, story telling, shouldn’t be difficult for kids from international kinder. In the old days it took two hours for assessment, it’s like a normal kinder day, last year I heard it’s 45 minutes maybe they are interviewing more candidates now.

I applied yr1 for my daughters as well,seems not many spots for outsiders,struggling to change to reception or not(emoji)

應該RC和Year 1都係25人一班，所以year 1要有人走先有位

但唔清楚開咗Tko campus有冇變，你可以打電話去問，admission staff幾好人的…如果你揾到佢哋……

Its not about what year you apply. It is on a rolling basis anyway. When you reach the top of the line on the waiting list, you will be interviewed for that year or the coming year.

So if you applied just recently, you will most likely be waiting around 2 years to be interviewed, which every grade that means for your child.

25 kids per class. When we went for RC assessment in February 2018 we were asked to indicate our choice of campus. I guess (just guess) More people chose Jardine’s Lookout then TKO. We were offered a place in a week. I guess (just guess again) it may be easier to get a place in TKO.
