There are so many "Real" international kindergartens much better than ESF kinders. VSA is even not a real international kindergarten.  

For residents of HK Island, there is no need to attend ESF kinders in order to get a higher priorty of having an interview for ESF primary.  It is better to select a better real international kindergarten.

Christian Int'l school at Shatin is a good school but if you really want to compare the academic standards, it is not the among the few best in HK.

There were some published data on GSCE and GCE A-Level (I forgot the exact sources) that GSIS achieved the best public exam results. While CIS, ESF were also among the best. The difference among these three schools are in fact not very great.

However, please note that the above data were only refer to GSCE and GCE A-level only. Some other HK's IS will attend the SAT ior IB Diploma instead.
