Hi Courtbas,
My girl (3.5yr) attended a few classes this summer: Canadian International (2 weeks)
German swiss (2 weeks)
Japanese and Mandarin class
Drawing class.
My girl told me she likes all the other classes but not German Swiss ! She told me on the third day of school that she doesn't want to go to that school. She went to Kingston for regular school and had never told me negative comments.
Based on my observation, I guess it is the uptight atmosphere that she dislikes. The classrooms are not very colorful like other kindergartens. Class activities are the usual stuff like drawing, singing, handcraft, etc.... they even have one swimming class a week. Teachers look fine & nice to me. There was only 1 non-chinese student in this summer class.
