By the way, I would also like to know whether the international school students have had the equal opportunity to enter the local U as those from the local school ?
Students taking A-level enter local universities through something called JUPAS system. Those who do not take A-level, including overseas applicants and students from international schools, should apply through Non-JUPAS system. Unlike, JUPAS which is adminstrated by the EMB, different universities have their own Non-JUPAS admission standards. In fact, different departments can have their own way to take in Non-JUPAS students.
Therefore, it is difficult to say whether the chances for students of local schools and international schools are "equal" or not. |
