I’ve been to the school tour of JIS, their students have the option of choosing Chinese or Japanese as the second language, it’s taught in traditional characters, not a bad choice for a local kid. Both schools are good and caring, JIS has an even smaller class and a better cultural mix (from what I observe in 5/2017). One thing to consider is the year of entry for secondary school or insertion at other schools - some schools like ESF have their cut-offs at December, so if your kid wish to transfer to ESF, he/she has to “jump class”. For ICHK I am not sure if they have an age cut-off for entry.
Congratulations for the offers!
