Is SIS harder to get in than ISF?

just wondering exactly how hard it is to get into SIS?

That’s the point, SIS is the only one Singapore Government running school oversea, if you are holding Singapore passport, for sure you are guaranteed a place, and now there are so many Singapore passport holder in HK, so the place remain for non SG passport holder will be very few.

My cousins friend is Singaporean but he didn’t get a spot last year, Heard that now it’s not guarantee a place

My friend 2 years ago applied after the school year start, they waited for 3 months and got a place after someone dropped out, the school assured him saying he will anyway get a spot within the year after they submit application. The policy changed just last year!? good to know.

Is the child a Singaporean citizen?

If yes, and if they have met the application deadline, and assuming they were applying for PY1, it’s almost impossible the child could not get in.

For years above PY1, I have no personal experience but I am guessing it could be subject to availability?

Not 100% sure but heard this from a few friends including one who has a Singapore passport
