如何預備考入esf kinder?

大家有冇咩諗法？佢剩係得灣仔校舍有N班，除咗上playgroup ，仲有啲咩野可以預備呢？

乜灣仔果間算N? 算kinder 咩？佢只係offer playgroup.

點入Esf kinder , 準時報名，有運氣抽籤，有play visit 又聽得明英文

去你想報k個間報play group  等小朋友 熟習環境,  到時interview起碼小朋友不害怕新環境。
另外N班要有外藉老師，見到外國人不害怕
到時Interview不會對小朋友好多要求，衹係老師會同小朋友玩下，老師會留意小朋友的英語聆聽，如可以英語簡單對答更好。

Esf無 N班播。你參加嗰啲係佢哋对外开放嘅playgroup. 就算参加，㨂返喺嗰個你有意報考嘅校园上啦。起碼俾小孩習慣吓環境。除此之外，並無其他特別advantage

The best preparation you could do is to talk with your child in English only, starting from right now and maintain that at least until the Play Visit is done.

Bear in mind that during the Play Visit you're going to be speaking English only to your child, if the normal routine is to use Cantonese or a mix of Cantonese/English, then the child may sense something "abnormal" is happening on the day and may feel confused and behave in an unexpected way.

我女都係今年考入esf k1.
Agree 最緊要都係show 到小朋友聽得明英文，其餘其實係靠luck.
我一路以來都盡量同個女講英文，尤其係play visit 前幾個月。

My son got an K1 offer this year.
Since there's no pre-nursery class at ESF, we had been attending the ESF playgroup when he was 15 months old.
And as my helper (Indonesian) and my in laws speak Cantonese. I have been the only one talking in English with my son (I'm a working mom). So I had sent him to an English pre-nursery school (3 hours all in English).

Thanks and are u meaning ur son attended playgroup at esf and nursery of other school at the same time?

邊有人比NR 入k1 咁唔化算呀？ 點都搏一搏運氣先啦嘛。

K1 的其他開支是field trip , 每個月100幾十咁囉

Wanchai is a center not exactly the campus. You may check esf website for the location of its kindergartens

Yes. Pre-nursery at weekdays and playgroup at ESF on weekends

Attending playgroup at the Wanchai Centre will not increase the chance of K1 offer.

Agree with the above that under the new full-train scheme, the K1 competition could become more vigorous this September.

First of all, you have to be lucky enough to be offered a play visit. Some don’t even have the chance. Perhaps foreign passport holders may have an advantage but a certain percent of places are still offering to locals.  

Prepare your child to communicate in English. Per my observation during the play visit, only a small amount of children speak native English. Some are fluent. The rest speak only simple phrases or even single words.  Despite the level of verbal response, the child must demonstrate that he/she understands English and reply accordingly.  

During the play visit, there are various activities in the room. Try to lead your child to the activities that he/she likes in order to demonstrate a good sense of communication and interaction.

The final stage (and this is pure luck) is that you have been assigned a good random number (high enough) to be offered a place.
