International Preschool in Shanghai

My husband has a new assignment and we will relocate to Shanghai in May. I will work. I'm looking for a full day preschool for my son - 2 years old.

Any moms can give some advice, which school is good?  I have checked the school fees and can't believe my eyes that most schools are asking for US$12,000 - US$17,000 / year.  The school fees are very expensive there!

Are you looking for an international school in SH then? I may help you because my sister live in there with her family. She has 3 daughters and the youngest daughter is studying international school in there.Which part you going to live in there?

If you want to pay less fees, I think you are better to find a local nursery rather than international ones. My sister also said that it is very expensive to study international school in there so she is able to afford one daughter to go on international nursery.The other 2 go to local school. She said that the differences between local and international nursery and school is just the language and cuirrium provided at school. She found that local school are good either but the main language is Mardrian.

The name of her daugher's school is called 'Rainbow Bridge International School'

An international kindergarten and early primary years school for children between the ages of 2 years and 8 years old.

Thanks for your info. We have not decided where to live, we'll first stay in hotel and look around. I've heard of Rainbow Bridge, it's next to to zoo, right? If I remember well, their full day class is til 2:30 pm. I prefer something last to 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm.
