YMCA TST NO INTERVIEW NEEDED?

Dear all,
Can someone tell me why some kids are accepted by YMCA kinder without an interview, is it their general policy?

Also want to know if any one has to go for interview before acceptance. Do they reject kids or take them all when there is vacancy? Thanks.

I don't think they have a formal interview before accepting the children.  They will conduct a briefing and a school tour for the families though where they'll introduce to you about the school and also to meet your child.

I got a call from YMCA yesterday to fix a meeting with my family.  I told them that I could not bring my child as she's attending playgroup during that time and they said it was ok as they have my child's record and they could see her anytime in her classroom.

So I think they'll still want to meet with the child but it's not an assessment interview as they don't require good English for the kid to join the kindergarten.
