Is it hard to get a place there?

I do believe it is hard to entry as it is IS and also good on academic result. Not only in HK but also internationally.

Ah, forget to tell you lor. German seems to be the secondary language in the school. Is it mandatory, you should phone them to know.

German Swiss International School is divided into two section, German Section and International Section. For International Section, German as a second lauguage is taught  P2 onwards.

Thanks fro replying. Do you know anybody studying there? I am considering its secondary school. I know it is hard to get a place there, but just consider....

I access to its website, in my understanding I think they take German as a major language and it is compulsary for every grade. So you think they will accept anybody who cannot speak German?

Re Academic results, how does GSIS compared to CIS, HKIS, and French International ?  I heard these 3 schools produce excellent academic results as well.

Hi mfkhung,

I only knew a girl come from a top famous tradition girl school and switch to GSIS when F.1. She can speak fluent French  and of course high English standard. But she cannot speak German and  still get accept. So I think knowing a European laugauge can let you have a bigger chance to get in.
