Re: Where are you planning to send your kids for University?
I agree also...I have never thought about letting my kids to study in local university. Not because of the standards...it is because the kids in local U seems kinda "dead" for me. I remember when I was in the states for university....I really enjoyed the time there, got to learn other people's cultures, other ways of life, and it was just the happiest time of my life. I got into an U.S. university when I was only 17. That was how I learned to be independent. I was living by myself in a apartment....got to meet a lot of friends. I also interviewed many of the local u students when I hired people..and seriously I really think that they were not as motivated, independent, and "sing muk" when compared to the kids who spent their years in other countries for university.
Just what I personally think.
