KCIS Parents - Pls help

I'm planning for my daughter's education and doing research to explore different options. could anyone help in sharing the comments of having kids studying in KCIS? Good learning intiative? good education in languages / Maths / Science? Good moral education?

Pls help.

The answer is YES.     
I just received the offer letter from KCIS yesterday and have to pay the deposit by 2 Feb. My daughter will join KCIS am + KCS pm in Sept 07. Hope she works out fine!
In fact, I'm an old girl of KCS, not to mention my mother, uncle (mother's bro), my bro, sis and 3 cousins...

Happy to hear that, in fact, KCS also accepted my girl for Sept 2007, N1.  But, I might mostly go for another Billingual prenursery option in Kowloon Bay which is more close to my home. She's too small and we're quite worry about taking the school bus for a 2 year old kid. Is it difficult to apply for KCIS, K1 if my girl is not taking their N1? aare there tons of applications?
If possible, share with me more on the class mix of KCIS when your kid on board.

Is it "Telford" you are talking about? My daughter is going to Telford N1 now.
KCIS accepts applications on a first-come-first-served basis. Just apply once you make up your mind and they will inform you the status in Jan/Feb prior to the school year.

Yes, BINGO. We've attended the interview in Telford for international class, N1. If they accept my girl, we'll be mostly going there for N1 since my maid can do the send/pick up easily by MTR. For KCIS, I like their language environment so much, what I only concern is the student mix since i prefer an environment with a good mix between local and other nationality kids.
琬晴B, so glad to hear that your girl is studying in Telford. is she studying in international class? is the language environment good? are the teachers good?
For KCIS kindergarten application, do you mean no need to attend interview? just submit application?

I am not too sure about the nationality mix at the moment but you can find some discussions about KCIS at hongkong.asiaxpat.com and geobaby.com

My girl is now in Telford's whole-day class (AM main stream + PM international). So far so good. I often hear her sing songs, both English & Cantonese.  

For KCIS, you are right. There will be no interview for Kindergarten section.

just curious, how much is the fee for the int'l section (half day).  as per their kinder is half day or full day?

as per info from the KCIS website,
for KCIS, K1 and K2 fee is:
HK$5,000 for half day X 10 months per year,...quite high, I think.

My girl will go to KCIS K1 07-08, (she is now in KCS N1)
Just want to share why I choose KCIS,
Yes you are right, $5000 is very high
However, like many other mamas here,
what I want is  1/ bilibingual language environment
                        2/ happy school life
                        3/ small class size
                        4/ good teacher
finally I choose KCIS
There are some kinders that also fit the above points, like kingstons, tutor time, SIS, 耀中....but they are even more expensive!! (of course their environment is much better than KCIS)

I think it's not difficult to enter KCIS K1 if you apply early. Whether or not your kid is in KCS N1 is not the issue.

if it is for KCIS, i think the school fee is over the limit bor.  if it is for half day kinder - the limit is only $20000+ per year.
