| I disagree with those who say that there's no point for small B to delay for a year. A few months makes a whole world of difference in interview performance, especially at k1 and for boys. 
 Although ESF interviews are easy and stress-free, my small B was simply not developmentally ready for it at 25 months. He was barely starting to use complete sentences in his first language Cantonese. (I know, some of you might have talented kids who were talking bilingual in complete sentences by 18 months - but my son is definitely still within the normal range.) In fact, a few months later he became a different person, taking comfortably in English in group settings.
 
 Without kindy priority, ESF primary is basically out of the question for Kowloon/NT families. (Admittedly we don't love ESF that much that we'd move to the island side solely for a better chance.)
