請問報考ESF有咩要注意呢？  我地係local 家長。

1. Submit your application between 1 and 30 September 2018 (for children born in 2014).

2. Know your catchment. If you are in the catchment of KJS/BHS/SJS and do not have any priority. It will be very unlikely for you to get in.

3. No catchment for 2 PIS (DC and RC).

4. You can purchase NR (nomination right) to receive a high priority for interview (jump the queue). But they can still fail you. Deposit for the NR will be refunded if your child fails the interview.

5. The one form application may be implemented this year. You can attend the info session at ESFC in August. Check their website.

For nomination right, it is once off fee if I nominate my kid for admission.  There is no refund and no other benefit for this payment.  Am I correct?

NR is not debenture, not refundable.  once you nominate your kid to enroll, jumping the queue, the NR money is gone for good, even if you quit after one day of school.

The benefit is jumping the queue if the kid meets the minimum requirement.
