DSC is a great school with great teachers and staff.  My son, in his third year in the school, loved it everyday.
Although the school is unlike the other newly built ISs with spectacularly big campuses and impressive facilities, DSC doesn't have any of that but yet the students can still achieve and strive for their dreams.  I think the software is what really counts.  Also, the student composition at DSC is truly international with students from all over the world, if that is one important feature you are looking for.  Local population makes up the minority, which is very different from some other popular ISs.

If your child is not too fluent in English, DSC also has the ESL program, which could help the student build up their English foundation.

Thanks so much for your info!  Thats so helpful 🙏Do you know if they also offer AP program ? And what do you think abt their Chinese level? I heard that they have two streams (second language and native stream).

They don't offer AP program at the moment.  If you want more info re. their secondary program, it is advised to sign up their school tour and their admissions team would give you more accurate info.
As for Chinese (Putonghua), yes they have different levels and would assess the level of your kid.  My son was first put in the intermediate level putonghua but after the first class, they immediately upgraded him to advanced.  They won't waste time on leaving the students at the level which was not suitable for them.

The school offer OSSD program and it is recognised worldwide too.  No need to go for public exam. If u planned to go universities in Canada Ontario, it will be considered as local high school student as if they are studying in canada via local 101 stream. Feel free to arrange a school tour to get more info, their staff are very professional.
